Presidential Preference Primary In Madison And CT Next Month
This is the first year that Early Voting is an option for Connecticut voters.
MADISON, CT — Connecticut’s Presidential Preference Primary is scheduled for April 2 in Madison and throughout the state. Only registered Democrats and Republicans can vote in the primary.
The following names will appear on the ballots, according to the Secretary of State's Office, though some candidates may have already suspended their campaigns:

Below is information from the Madison Town Clerk's Office on ways to cast ballots:
- Absentee Ballots are now available in the Town Clerk's office. Information on getting an absentee ballot or other information on voting can be found by contacting the Town Clerk at 203-245-5672, or by visiting the Town Clerk's webpage www.madisonct.org/vote.
- Early voting is available at Town Campus from 10:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 - Thursday, March 28, and on Saturday, March 30. This is the first year that Early Voting is an option for Connecticut voters. To find out more about the process, please visit our website to learn more about Early Voting.
- Presidential Preference Primary Day in Connecticut is April 2, 2024. Polls will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: District 1 voting will be at Polson Middle School, 302 Green Hill Rd, and District 2 voting will be at Brown Intermediate School, 980 Durham Rd.
