Pumpkins and Mums from the Friends of Hammonasset

The Friends of Hammonasset are having another plant sale. They’re selling pumpkins by the pound and chrysanthemums to brighten your doorstep this fall. The mums have arrived and prices begin at $5.00 per pot. There’s a terrific selection of colors and sizes. Pumpkins should arrive soon. Funds raised from this sale will pay for the entertainment at this year’s Meigs Point Farm Festival. The Festival will be held October 4 and 5 2014 and is a free family event featuring music, food, and local history.
The Pumpkin and Mum Sale began September 3 and will be open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM until September 29. the Sale is located on Route 1 in Madison, CT 300 yards east of the Hammonasset Beach State Park’s main entrance (next to the Shoreline Greenway Trails new parking area).
