Restorative/Yin Yoga starts Feb. 13th

Has an injury sidelined your yoga practice or do you just want to try something new this winter? You may want to try Restorative/Yin Yoga, a new class offered at the Mercy Center in Madison beginning Thursday, Feb. 13th. Class will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Arbor Ridge room of the Mercy Center. Unlike traditional forms of yoga that focus on the muscles and tendons, Restorative/Yin yoga focuses on the fascia and joints, allowing for deep relaxation. Using props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets, poses are held for longer periods of time in this type of yoga. Please bring your own mat and an eye pillow if you have one. Lavender-scented eye pillows also are available for purchase for $8. Cost is $15. For more information, visit www.beachroseyoga.com.
