Scranton Memorial Library Holds Seascape Photography Interactive Workshop

MADISON, CT — If you follow Madison community Facebook pages, you know Madhavan Parthasarthy as his photographs of Madison are, in a word, stunning.

Now, the accomplished local photographer who specializes in shoreline photography, is sharing the tricks of his trade with the Scranton Memorial Library's Seascape Photography: An Interactive Workshop program set for July 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Parthasarthy will be presenting a one-hour workshop on how to capture and enhance ocean scenes like a professional. This class will be followed by a separate field session at East Wharf Beach.

If you have the following, please bring them to the beach session:

- DSLR or mirrorless camera
- Wide angle or standard lens (nothing greater than 70mm)
- Tripod
Point-and-shoot or cellphone cameras are okay too, but you won’t have the ability to fine tune shots as you will with a DSLR/mirrorless.
