Shoreline Greenway Trail to Hold 15-Mile Bike Ride
Start your 4th of July weekend with a 15-mile, round-trip bike ride from scenic Guilford Harbor to Madison's Circle Beach and back
Shoreline Greenway Trail (SGT) is leading a 15-mile bicycle ride from Guilford to Madison and back on Saturday, July 2, as part of its First Saturday series of walks, rides and other outdoor activities.
The 15-mile, round-trip route will take riders from scenic Guilford Harbor to Madison’s Circle Beach and back, passing the site of Guilford’s soon-to-be-built first section of Shoreline Greenway Trail beside Route 1 on the east side of town. The course is generally flat.
Participants should meet at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot at Guilford Harbor. The ride is for experienced riders over age 14. Helmets and signed waivers will be required. For more information, contact Pam Bisbee-Simonds at pbsbds@snet.net.
