Shoreline Greenway Trail Hosts Bike Safety Rodeo in Guilford

Kids can learn safe riding habits and rules of the road in bike safety rodeo in downtown Guilford

Shoreline Greenway Trail, in partnership with the Guilford Police Department, Guilford Park & Recreation and Zane's Cycles, is sponsoring a bike-safety rodeo for kids on Saturday, June 4, at the Guilford Town Hall parking lot from 9 to 11 a.m. Kids will learn safe riding habits and the rules of the road, and they'll be able to have their helmets and other equipment checked for fit and safety. An obstacle course will be set up, where kids can improve their bike-riding skills and behaviors. Donations of used bicycles will be accepted for Bikes for Kids, which collects, repairs, safety-tests and gives away bicycles to kids in need.
