The Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra Has Openings for New Members
It’s not too late to join the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra. Contact Ann and Bill Clemmons at william.clemmons@snet.net to schedule an audition. Practices take place every Wednesday evening at DHHS. The Orchestra is celebrating twenty eight years of providing Shoreline high school students with a quality experience in orchestral music. SYSO performs great classical symphonic and contemporary compositions, in addition to lighter “pops” or show music. SYSO also has smaller ensembles including a jazz band and a fiddle club as well as a younger preparatory orchestra called the “Whiz Kids Orchestra” for middle school students.

Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra
The Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra will hold its second annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction to benefit its educational and outreach programs on Thursday, November 7th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Woodwinds, 29 Schoolground Road, Branford. Tickets are $50.00 per person and include music by SYSO members and a bountiful buffet prepared by Chef Silvio as well as a sampling of over 60 wines from around the world. Performance Schedule
The Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra will be performing at the ABC Concert on December 8th from 3:00 - 5:30 P.M. at the First Congregational Church Madison.
Both the SYSO and Whiz Kids Orchestras will be performing at the Winter Concert on December 15th from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. at St. Margaret’s Church, Madison.
