2 Armed Robbery Suspects Apprehended In Madison: UPDATE

The armed robbery occurred at the Westbrook Denny's parking lot. Both suspects have now been caught, State Police said.

MADISON, CT — Two suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Westbrook Denny's Restaurant have been taken into custody in Madison, State Police said. At 11:21 a.m. Troopers from Troop F in Westbrook responded to an armed robbery that occurred in the parking area of Denny's Restauarant at 28 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook, State Police said.

The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and were located at the Interstate 95 Southbound rest area in Madison a short time later, State Police said. One suspect fled on foot and a second suspect fled in a vehicle, State Police said.

Shadrach Ferguson, 23, of Sable Street in Norwalk was taken into custody and the second suspect, who was not named, was also apprehended a short time later in a wooded area behind the rest area, State Police said.
