MADISON, CT — Enjoy a beautiful walking tour of the Madison Green Historic District Saturday, Aug. 20 at 2:30 p.m.

The tour is a collaboration between the Madison Historical Society and the Scranton Memorial Library.

It promises to show tour-goers "some of the most interesting local history sites our town has to offer."

Meet at the Madison Historical Society, 14 Meeting House Lane. The historical society is located inside Madison's first high school, Lee's Academy, constructed in 1821 at a cost of $1,200.
