Tigers Come From Behind to Win 28-14 (With Photo Gallery And Video)
The Daniel Hand Football Team remains undefeated at 7-0 after falling behind at halftime to the West Haven Blue Devils.
The Tigers took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 70+ yard run by Kevin Frey, but the Blue Devils controlled the ball for most of the first half and scored twice, taking a 14-7 lead into halftime.
In the second half Hand scored on the opening drive and added two more touchdowns, all 3 were pass completions to Nick Vitale. The defense shut out the West Haven offense for the rest of the game.
The win gives Hand the SCC Division I East Championship and puts them in very good shape, with three games to go, to qualify for the State Class L Playoffs.
