MADISON, CT — A public informational meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Madison, where a draft of the Town's Strategic Plan will be discussed, officials announced.

"This draft plan is a result of community feedback received over the last 6 months through community surveys, focus groups, a visioning session, and a leadership retreat," wrote First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons in a Community Update. "It lays out a Town vision and mission statement and identifies our Strategic Goals and Objectives in Key Focus areas."

Information about the plan and the draft can be viewed here. Public feedback is welcomed; the draft does not include the implementation plan for Town government, which officials said will be forthcoming.
