UConn Early College Program Names Daniel Hand Top 10 High School
The full list won't be released until February, but with 1,666 UConn credit hours taken by DHHS students, the school landed a top spot.

MADISON, CT —Daniel Hand High School was named one of the Top 10 High Schools for most credit hours taken in the UConn Early College Experience program for the 2020-2021 academic year, schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke said in a message to families Friday.
According to Cooke and as appears on the school's website, Hand was ranked as the number 6 high school in the program with students completing 1,666 UConn credit hours taken through UConn ECE.
In a letter sent to Hand administrators, schools said, UConn Early College Experience program Director of Student Enrichment Jessica Dunn congratulated staff and students on their efforts.

“We want to congratulate you on an extremely successful year despite all of the difficulties and uncertainties, and thank you for your dedication and hard work,” she said. “We know this success would not be possible without you.”
A complete list of the Top 10 High Schools will be announced in the UConn February Newsletter, according to the school's website.
