US News Ranking: Daniel Hand High School Ranked 1,251st Nationwide

US News released its high school rankings Tuesday, which includes 21,000 public schools nationwide.

MADISON, CT - U.S. News & World Report in a just released report concludes that 25 Connecticut Public High Schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.

To view that list click here. Daniel Hand High School ranked No. 29 for best public high schools in Connecticut and 1,251st best nationwide, according to the report.

Hand High School has a 97 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and a college readiness score of 40.1. A college readiness score pertains to students performance on standardized tests, and to view an in-depth report on how Hand High School students did click here.
