Vacancies On Town Committees, Commissions, Boards Need Filling
First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said in a bi-weekly message that there are a number of open seats, including on school building committees.

MADISON, CT —In her biweekly update, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons noted that there are currently vacancies need to be filled on other appointed boards, commissions, and committees.
Among them, the Board of Selectmen will be looking to fill vacancies on the newly created Elementary School Building Committee and a future Building Committee for the Academy Community Center Building in the coming weeks, she said.
Created by Selectmen following approval by referendum on the Madison School Renewal Plan, the seven-member Elementary School Building Committee's charge is focused on the design and construction of a new elementary school on Mungertown Road. Learn more here.
