MADISON, CT —In the February referendum, Madison voters decided that the best use of the Academy School space is to build a community center. Now, the Academy Community Center Advisory Committee has created a survey to gather community feedback on potential uses for the facility that will satisfy needs that are currently unmet or underserved by existing town facilities and services.

The committee notes that resident "feedback is a critical piece of ensuring that the redevelopment of the site includes space that is appropriately configured to best serve those community needs."

The survey should take around three to five minutes to complete. Please note that responses should also represent the needs and interests of children and grandchildren in the community who will not be able to complete the survey themselves. Multiple selections are allowed for questions about community needs.
