Work Underway On Upgrades To HVAC System At Madison's Town Campus
The project includes construction of a geothermal well.

MADISON, CT — Construction has begun to improve the HVAC systems at Madison's Town Campus, including building a geothermal well, according to town officials.
According to First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, efforts have been made to minimize impact to the town government's daily operations.
"Nonetheless, while construction is ongoing, there may be inconveniences such as decreased public parking, changes in locations for selected services, and traffic disruptions," Lyons wrote in a recent Community Update.

Access to the Arts Barn and all Town Hall entrances will remain open throughout the project. All efforts will be made to keep town services readily available to all during this time period.
"If you plan on attending a town board or committee meeting, be sure to bring a jacket so that you can remain comfortable as the heating and cooling systems for the building are offline during this time," Lyons said.
