100 Women Who Care – North Central CT Donates To Lutz Museum
The charitable organization 100 Women Who Care has made a donation to a popular regional children's museum.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Lutz Children’s Museum recently received a donation of $3,900 from 100 Women Who Care - North Central Connecticut.
The Lutz depends heavily on the generosity of others to carry out its mission of providing a multi-faceted museum for children to explore culture, history, and the natural sciences through internal and external exhibits, programs, and experiences.
The Lutz is also home to Chuckles, the state groundhog.

Lutz Executive Director Patricia Buxton accepted the donation by saying, "The 100 Women Who Care of North Central Connecticut are phenomenal. This small but mighty group of women truly makes a difference in the community. Their support will help us host a Thanksgiving dinner for the many volunteers that keep the museum's mission alive and well."
The philanthropic organization 100 Women Who Care has more than 600 chapters throughout the world.

Inspired by the influence of their collective resources, the group meets four times a year to select a charity to receive a contribution. The next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 23, 2024. For more information, contact 100women@cox.net.
