2 Remain In Custody In Manchester Bottle Smashing Case
Two suspects accused of taking part in an assault involving a smashed bottle are in custody on high bonds.

MANCHESTER, CT — Two suspects accused of taking part in a Manchester assault involving a smashed bottle are in custody on high bonds while awaiting their second court appearances, records show.
At 2:19 p.m. on May 4, Manchester police went to 122 Oakland St. after being called about an assault in progress, according to a report. Officers located a 41-year-old man bleeding from a laceration to his forehead, according to a report.
Witnesses told officers that Makenzie Boudreau, 22, and Jackeno Oliphant, 46, both of Manchester, took part in the assault, according to a report. The man had been hit over the head with a bottle, according to a report.

Boudreau was charged with:
- Second-degree assault
- Conspiracy to commit second-degree assault
- Carrying a dangerous weapon
- Third-degree assault
- Second-degree breach of peace
- Second-degree reckless endangerment
She appeared in court Monday and a judge upheld her $100,000 bond, which she did not post, records show. She is due back in court on June 14, according to court records.

Oliphant was charged with:
- Conspiracy to commit second-degree assault
- Third-degree assault
- Second-degree breach of peace
He also remained in custody on a $100,000 bond and is due back before a judge on June 7, court records show.
