2 Stores Commit To Former Manchester Toys R Us Space
2 retail establishments have committed to move into the former Manchester Toys R Us Space.

MANCHESTER, CT — Two discount retail establishments are taking the place of the old Toys R Us store in Manchester's Buckland Hills retail district.
Signs are up for a new K&G Fashion Superstore and a Marshall's to move in there at the Plaza at Buckland Hills.
Manchester planning officials said they did not have a definite timetable, but a site modification has been endorsed for new facade.

The space will be divided to accommodate the two new stores, officials said.
The space was left vacant in February 2018, after a going-out-of-business sale at Toys R Us. The closure announcement came in January 2018, roughly four months after Toys R Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection amid declining sales and climbing debt.

Marshall's has had a presence in Manchester. Planning officials termed the plaza plans a "relocation" from its spot up the hill on Hale Road. A staffer at Marshall's said the transition will take place in August.
K & G has more than 85 locations nationwide.
