Officers will add resources to deter large, unsanctioned gatherings, while Cinemark plans to deny entry to unaccompanied minors. Parents and ride-share drivers are urged to keep minors away to avoid potential safety risks.
• Cops: Woman gave cannabis gummy to juvenile relative at St. Vincent's (westportjournal.com) — A woman from Manchester has been charged after police say she gave a cannabis-infused gummy to a juvenile relative while visiting a behavioral health facility in Westport. State and local authorities were notified after the youth later reported feeling high, and the woman is now facing a child endangerment charge with a court appearance scheduled in Stamford later this month.
