• Manchester Fireworks Celebration Now In Its 41st Year (patch.com) — Manchester families can look forward to the 41st James “Dutch” Fogarty Independence Day Celebration on July 11 at CT State Community College - Manchester, featuring bands, an artisan market, kids activities and 14 food trucks. The evening culminates with a specially designed fireworks show at dusk, with a rain date set for July 12 so residents can still enjoy the hometown tradition.    

• Glastonbury crash closes part of Hebron Avenue, police say (fox61.com) — Manchester police were among several departments responding to a serious crash that shut down part of Hebron Avenue in nearby Glastonbury Tuesday afternoon. Drivers were urged to avoid the Hebron Avenue and Glenwood Road area for several hours as officers investigated injuries from the collision.
