Arrest Made In February Manchester Gas Station Shooting
Manchester police have made an arrest in a violent wintertime incident at a local gas station.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Police Thursday made an arrest in connection with a February shooting at a local gas station.
It was part of an attempted robbery at the Mobil gas station, 427 Hartford Road, police said.
The suspect and shooter, identified as 19-year-old Paul Davis of Hartford, was taken into custody pursuant to a warrant issued for his arrest, police said.

Davis has been charged with: first-degree assault, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal attempt at robbery in the first degree, first-degree threatening, conspiracy to commit larceny in the second degree, illegal discharge of a firearm and criminal use of a firearm.
Davis was being being held overnight on a $750,000 bond and is set to appear in Manchester Superior Court Friday, police said.

During this incident, a 54-year-old man, the target of an attempted robbery, sustained a gunshot wound to the hip, according to case records. After an extensive investigation, the identity of the suspect was developed, and information was gathered to secure an arrest warrant for his actions in this shooting, police said.
