Arts And Crafts Giant Closing Manchester Store

MANCHESTER, CT — Arts and crafts supply giant A.C. Moore will be closing its Manchester store, both a staffer and signs confirmed on Tuesday.

A staffer answering the phone said it was a corporate notification and the store at 179 Hale Road should be shuttered by January.

The store is advertising a liquidation sale beginning Oct. 29. Framing orders will not be taken after Oct. 28, according to a store posting.

The posting said store hours would be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
