Sign Emerges At Buckland Hills Mall For Mediterranean Restaurant

MANCHESTER, CT — It was pizza, then Mexican.

And now ... Mediterranean cuisine.

And the new signage proclaims that Istanbul Cafe is bringing those dishes to the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall.

The sign emerged recently at the spot formerly occupied by a Bertucci's (which seems like ancient history) and then Toro Azteca.

It sits next to the Hungry Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot restaurant.

Work on the conversion has begun but no opening date has been announced.
