Rally for the Statewide Day of Action: No ALPR Cameras in Manchester
Event Details
RALLY FOR STATEWIDE DAY OF ACTION! Take Down the ALPR Cameras in Manchester!
586 Main St. Mary Cheney Library near the Flock Camera. 4PM
Across CT, on November 12th, people will be holding roadside pickets and rallies to protest the growing surveillance in our communities. In towns like Windsor Locks, West Hartford, Middletown, and Manchester, people are demanding: No Cameras. No Collaboration. No Compromise.
Following the Nov 10th Board of Directors meeting, where a proposal to remove the ALPR cameras in Manchester will be put forward, whichever way the vote goes, join the Manchester Rally for the Statewide Day of Action against ALPR Cameras in CT! Bring a picket sign!
We'll come together for a roadside picket to protest the cameras in Manchester OR a celebration to cover a camera (directed by town officials) and rally to demand more CT towns follow Manchester's example!
