Child Porn Charges Slapped on Manchester Man

MANCHESTER, CT — A local man was in the lockup Tuesday morning on a half-million-dollar bond while facing child pornography charges, police said.

On Monday, Manchester police arrested James Hall, 34, of 83 Brent Road, Manchester, on a warrant for two counts of possessing child pornography in the first degree, and single count of promoting a minor in an obscene performance, police said.

The arrest of Hall stems from an investigation by the Center for Digital Investigations with some assistance from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes and Electronic Evidence Laboratory, police said.

Hall was being held on a $500,000 cash-surety bond on Tuesday morning and was assigned a court date of April 11, police said.
