• Prize Money Increases For Manchester Road Race (patch.com) — Manchester residents can look forward to a bigger payday for elite runners at this year's Manchester Road Race, as first and second place prizes have been significantly increased. The 90th running of the Thanksgiving Day tradition will again wind through Manchester's central streets, with registration now open and capped at 14,000 participants. Organizers hope the boosted prize money will attract even more top-tier athletes to town.
