Construction Near Bennet Under Way

MANCHESTER, CT - Renovations have begun at the Cheney/Bennet Academy Building, town officials said.

Work includes replacing the sewer lines on school and Wells streets this month, town officials said. Both roads will be subject to temporary closures, town officials said.

School Street, where it runs parallel to the school property, will be closed during construction, town officials said.

"All efforts will be made to minimize noise, dust and vibration as well as minimizing traffic delays," town officials said.
