Accused Dunkin' Donuts Bandit Gets a New Set of Charges
A Manchester man already accused of breaking into several Dunkin' Donuts shops has more charges, police said.

COVENTRY, CT — A Manchester man already accused of touring a good chunk the state to burglarize numerous Dunkin' Donuts outlets has a new set of charges out of Coventry, police said Wednesday.
Early on Valentine's Day, Coventry police arrested Brett M. Johnson, 32, whose last known address is
124 Birch St., Manchester, for burglarizing the Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Coventry, police said.

Police said his arrest was part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation involving several law enforcement agencies, involving break-ins at Dunkin' Donuts shops throughout the capitol region and eastern Connecticut, police said.
The Coventry burglary took place during the overnight hours between April 13 and 14, 2017, police said.
He broke into the store through a rear entryway and cash and coins were stolen.

A second suspect was also involved and additional arrests are pending, police said.
Johnson was charged for the Coventry job with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, second degree and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, police said.
He was being held on bond for other cases and was to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Wednesday, police said.
In all, according to judicial system records, he has 27 other pending cases in New Milford, Brookfield, Torrington, Suffield, Enfield, Windsor, Meriden, South Windsor, Glastonbury, Canton, Granby and out of state police Troops F, K, L and D.
His bonds total $286,600, according to judicial system records.
