Eagles Continue to Be the Only Choice In Boys Hoop

East Catholic continued its streak of obtaining every first-place vote in the most recent weekly balloting of media members.

MANCHESTER, CT β€” It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but that's a sound that suits the East Catholic High School boys basketball team just fine.

For the fifth straight week, the Eagles (16-0) received first-place votes on all 18 ballots to stay atop the weekly poll of Connecticut media members. East Catholic travels to crosstown rival Manchester Thursday at 6:45 p.m.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes, with records through Feb. 6:
