East Catholic Boys and Girls Headed to Lacrosse Tournaments
Both Eagle teams are seeded third in Class S, and will be hosting first-round matches early next week.

MANCHESTER, CT β Both the boys and girls lacrosse teams from East Catholic High School will begin quests for state championships at home next week, in the opening round of the CIAC Class S tournaments.
The girls, seeded third, host No. 14 Waterford Tuesday, while the third-seeded boys entertain No. 14 Rocky Hill Wednesday.
Neither squad has ever captured a state title.

Darien is the top Class L seed in both the girls and boys divisions. New Fairfield (M) and St. Paul (S) are seeded first in the boys divisions, while Daniel Hand (M) and North Branford (S) hold the top spots for the girls.
