Official results were delayed on Tuesday into Wednesday for Manchester on the secretary of the state's website.
Registered voters in Manchester were out early to the polls on Tuesday for the 2016 election.
Secretary of the State Denise Merrill sad the average midday turnout in Connecticut was 29 percent.
Manchester was ahead of that pace at 1 p.m. with 46.7 percent of registered voters ( 13,998) having voted by machine. That compares with 41.2 percent ( 11.929) at 1 p.m. in 2012.
