Free Manchester Concert: Soprano Jurate Svedaite to Sing March 7
Join the Friends of Music at Emanuel and maestro Adrian Sylveen for a presentation of "Prayer in Opera."
On Saturday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m., the Friends of Music at Emanuel will present “Prayer in Opera” at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester.
Soprano Jurate Svedaite, who has performed throughout Europe and the United States, and the Connecticut Virtuosi Orchestra under maestro Adrian Sylveen will present the program of sacred selections from well-known operas.
Daniel Juarez, tenor, and singers from Connecticut Lyric Opera will join Ms. Svedaite in this program that captures the emotion and drama of prayer from favorite operas.
