Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s (ECHN) Women’s Center for Wellness (WCW) will host a Free Screening Day for Uninsured Women event on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. WCW is located at 2600 Tamarack Avenue, Suite 100, South Windsor, Conn.
This event will provide women an opportunity to receive screening services they might not otherwise have due to lack of insurance. WCW is dedicated to promoting early detection and healthy lifestyles for women in the communities served by ECHN.
Free Mammograms are made possible through Team Towanda (a non-profit organization whose mission is to support all those in our community affected by breast cancer, with a primary focus on the uninsured and underserved, and to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection – www.teamtowanda.org), and Eastern Connecticut Imaging Group, PC.
