Gas Station Store Held Up In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A gas station convenience store in Manchester was held up early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at 2:45 a.m. at the Xtra Mart at 95 Buckland St., according to dispatch records.

A man took cash and cigarettes and apparently fled on foot up Redstone Road, where he may have jumped into a waiting vehicle, authorities said. He implied he had a weapon, police said.

Police released a surveillance photo at 10 a.m.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious the area at that time is being asked to contact Manchester police at 860-645-5500.
