Hartford Man Arrested on Five Outstanding Warrants at the Mall

His charges include four counts of failure to appear, interfering with police, fifth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, misuse of a license, and possession of weapons in a motor vehicle.

It wasn't a very fun trip to the mall recently for Kirk David McDowell.

McDowell, a 48 year old Hartford resident, was arrested by the Manchester Police Department in the mall parking lot on Monday after police say they received a complaint that McDowell had shoplifted from the LensCrafters inside.

Police say that McDowell gave them a false name and driver's license at first, but that he was found to have five active warrants to his name. A search of McDowell's vehicle also yielded a wooden club.
