Beginning in November, The Shoppes at Buckland Hills will offer extended holiday hours to make your shopping experience merry and bright.

Photos with Santa

Date: Until December 24

Location: Macy’s Court

· Photos with Santa are available throughout the holiday season for one set price of $24.99.

Pet Photo Nights

Date: Mondays, November 17, 24, December 1, 8 and 15

Time: 6pm – 8pm

Location: Santa Set, Macy’s Court

· Share the holiday spirit with your favorite four-legged shopping buddy by bringing your cats or dogs to have an adorable holiday photograph with Old St. Nick.

· All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier while waiting for photos to be taken.

Shining Bright on Wednesday Nights

Date: November 26, December 3 and 10

Location: Santa Set, Macy’s Court

Time: 4pm - 8pm

· Each Wednesday from November 26 through December 10, The Shoppes at Buckland Hills hosts Shining Bright on Wednesday Nights in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the television special Rudolph the Red Nose ReindeerTM. The mall will offer a special gift with purchase with any Santa photo package and featured retailers, including Build-A-Bear Workshop, Hallmark, Claire’s and Icing, will host special “RudolphTM” events in stores.

Caring Claus

Date: November 23, 30 and December 7

Time: 10:30am – 12pm

Location: Santa Set, Macy’s Court

· The Autism Speaks, New England chapter will sponsor a special event for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Children and their siblings will have the opportunity to visit Santa in a calm, sensory-friendly environment before the mall is open to the public. Dim lighting and a specially trained staff will help to create a subdued atmosphere in which to enjoy this holiday tradition.

Gift Wrap

Date: November 29 - December 24

Location: Lower Level, Next to Barnes & Noble

· Gift Wrap will be available for shoppers for a nominal fee. All proceeds go to benefit the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Hartford and the Department of Children and Families -- Foster Care Division.

The Giving Tree Food Drive

Date: November 17 - December 15

Location: Lower Level, Barnes & Noble Court

· Make the holiday a little brighter by donating gifts and non-perishable food items at the Giving Tree for a family in need. Presented by Manchester Area Conference of Churches.
