Intended Manchester Shooting Victim Claims He was Targeted

According to a report, the intended victim of a Manchester shooting incident claims he was targeted because of a past car crash.

MANCHESTER, CT — The driver of a car suspected of racing just prior to a fatal crash last year said two men charged in a weekend shooting have been "targeting him" because of the accident,” the Hartford Courant reported, citing an arrest warrant.

The Courant reviewed the arrest warrant and posted a Wednesday story.

No one was hurt in the Sunday shooting incident, police said.

At least one shot was fire during the incident and a tan-colored 2005 Chevy Malibu was noticed leaving the the area of East Center Street and Walker Street shortly before 6:30 p.m., according to case records.
Two suspects were located on Tuesday hiding inside 15 Wadsworth St. and were taken into custody without incident, police said.
