Malloy: Donovan's Said Enough About FBI Probe

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy today said embattled House speaker  has given "a full explanation of what he knows," about an FBI probe into his campaign's finances and he's satisfied with the speaker's response to the situation, the CT Mirror reports.

Malloy was one of the first leading Democrats in the state to  more publicly about what he knows about the probe, following the arrest last week of Donovan's campaign finance director.

Donovan held a press conference late Sunday and said he knew nothing about allegations his finance director hid some campaign contributions and that at no time did he seek out improper campaign donations or knew anything about them.
