Manchester Child Molester Pleads Guilty, Faces Deportation
The Costa Rican man who was living in Manchester will likely be deported at the end of his prison term, officials reportedly said.

A 66-year-old Manchester resident from Costa Rica pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexually assaulting two teenage girls and was scheduled to be sentenced to 12 years in prison, suspended after 18 months, according to a Hartford Courant report which also said:
Jorge A. Carmona is also expected to be sentenced to 10 years of probation at his next court hearing on April 12, and if he remains in the United States he’ll need to register as a sex offender. But officials said he will likely be deported when he gets out of jail.
Carmona pleaded guilty Wednesday under the Alford Doctrine, in which he disputes the truth of the accusation against him but agrees he would likely be found guilty at trial.
