Manchester Election 2015 Results: Close Race for Mayor
The person who receives the most votes for the Manchester Board of Directors is appointed mayor.
Democratic Mayor Jay Moran narrowly retained that title Tuesday in a nip-and-tuck race with Deputy Mayor Tim Devanney.
Incumbents fared well in their quests to retain seats on the Board of Directors. In addition to Moran, Democrats Steve Gates, Rudy Kissmann and Peg Hackett won re-election, while fellow Democrat Sarah L. Jones was elected for the first time.
On the Republican side, incumbents Matthew Galligan, Cheri Pelletier Eckbreth and Patrick Greene joined Devanney in keeping their spots on the board.
