Manchester Holding Independence Day Celebrations on July 6
If you want to watch the July 4 fireworks, you have to wait two days.

July 4 is coming a couple days later in Manchester.
The James Dutch Fogarty Independence Day Celebration at Manchester Community College is scheduled to happen on Saturday, July 6, the city posted on its website.
Fireworks will be shooting off at 9:30 p.m.
Here's a schedule of other happenings that day.
4 p.m. — Children's Activities
5 p.m. — Music - Skyline Drive
7 p.m. Music - Mohegan Sun All-Stars
The rain date is Sunday, July 7, 2013, with the same festivities beginning at 4 p.m.
Until then, there will be a few concerts held on the grounds of Manchester Community College you can check out:
June 19: Fiesta Del Norte
June 21: German Night - Austrian Boys
All concerts are 7–9 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome, as are volunteers. Visit the website for concert details & full schedule.
