Manchester Man Charged After Southington Stolen Car Incident
Southington police said they have charged a Manchester man and three others after a stolen car incident in town.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police said they have charged four people after a stolen car incident in town.
Arrested were:
- Joseph Pina, 23, of East Hartford. He was charged with second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.

- Elwood Goding, age 22, of Manchester. He was charged with second-degree larceny.

- Jahiem Forte, 18, who has no listed address in a report. He was charged with second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.

- A juvenile was charged with second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
At 11:55 Sunday night, Southington officers responded to 32A Darling St. after receiving a complaint that "multiple youths" were pulling on car door handles and attempting to get into
cars.
Officers located Goding inside a vehicle determined to be stolen out of Newington, according to a report.
Officers also found firearms, bullets and a magazine in plain view.
Goding was ultimately uncooperative and detained, according to a report. Police then located three others, running from the direction where Goding was located, a report indicates. They were identified as Forte, Pina and the juvenile, all whom matched the description provided in the complaint, police said.
Witnesses told police all four were in the stolen vehicle and also said they were attempting to get into parked vehicles, according to a report.
The incident is still being investigated, police said.
