Dainis H. Klavins, 84, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. Born in Latvia, he was a longtime resident of Manchester, working as a drywall finisher for the L.P. Company before retiring.
He leaves behind his wife, Alda, his son, Andrew and his wife Anne-Margaret, 3 grandchildren, A.J., Austin, and Ashlynn, a stepson, Martin Belte, a sister Astrida Hasch, his nieces Sylvia Hasch-Haddad and Irene Mullock and their families. Dainis was predeceased by his wife Ilga, and their two sons, Eric and Valdis.

The family will receive friends, Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at East Cemetery. Assembly at funeral home at 9:00 a.m.
