Manchester Obituary: Jeanette Gadoury, 86

Condolences to her family and friends.

Jeanette Bouley Gadoury, 86, of Manchester, ended her battle with dementia and passed into the hands of our Lord on Monday, August 27, 2018.

Jeanette was born in Hartford on August 18, 1932, daughter of the late Ora (St. Jean) and Ovila Bouley. Jeanette was the wife of the late Joseph G. L. Gadoury.

Jeanette leaves behind a daughter Debbie Gadoury Kaufman and her husband Derek, and two sons: Mark Gadoury and his husband Gordon Bunch of Porter Ranch, CA; and Jeffrey Gadoury of Manchester, with whom she resided and who cared for her during this long battle. Jeff, we are forever grateful for your awesome care of Mom. Jeanette also leaves behind two grandchildren Bryant Kaufman and his wife Kaitlyn of Lexington, VA and Chelsea Kaufman of Colerain Township, OH.

Jeanette was the youngest of thirteen children. She is survived by her sister Theresa Coughlin of South Windsor, and many, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her brothers; Leo "Corky" Bouley, Charlie Bouley, Ovila Bouley Jr., and her sisters; Leah Rudolph, Gloria McClucas, Mary Rose Cashman, Cora Sopelak, Lydia Keegan, Aldea Klotz, Dora Golembieski, and Claire Pych.

The family is grateful to Latoya Richard for the excellent care and companionship she provided to our mother for these last years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wapping Cemetery in South Windsor.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
