
Julie "Annie" Raymond, 63, of Manchester, formerly of Florida and South Windsor, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 while at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.
Annie was born on December 4, 1952 in Hartford to the late Michael and Mary (Kaminsky) Jevitts. She was a graduate of South Catholic High School class of 1970. Annie lived in East Hartford before settling in South Windsor where she raised her family, she would then make her home in Florida before coming back to Manchester. She loved her children and her family; from traveling on road trips and always being there for kids, never missing a single baseball or basketball game.
Many knew her from her role with daycare, a great passion of hers. Annie was also heavily involved with South Windsor politics serving on the Democratic Party and the town committee department on inland wetlands.

Annie is survived by her cherished sons Joseph Anthony Raymond of Vernon, Paul Raymond of Manchester; her daughter Jennifer Thomas of ME; her brother Michael Jevitts and his wife Nancy of West Hartford; her sister Mary Spittlehouse and her husband Robert of FL; her adored grandchildren Michael, Daniele, Willi; her four beloved great grandchildren; and many close friends. Aside from her parents Annie was predeceased by her son, Marc Michael Raymond in 2009.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, August 22 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor from 5 – 8 pm. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 23 directly at St. Philip of the Apostle Church, 150 South Main St. East Windsor, CT 06088 at 10 am. Burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
