Manchester Obituary: Matthew Lanza, 37

Matthew James Lanza, 37, of Cromwell, died on September 10, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Hartford, he was the son of Robert J. Lanza and his wife, Renee of Baltimore Lake, NC and Nancy (Rioux) Lanza of Cromwell. Matt grew up in South Windsor, lived in Manchester and recently moved to Cromwell. He worked for Commercial Store Front Services, Inc.

Matt was a big movie buff, had a large vinyl record collection, was an avid motorcycle rider and was always the life of the party.

Along with his mother and father, Matt is survived by his sister, Teri Lanza and her husband, Devon Montoya of Chandler, AZ and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 2:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home.
