
Richard E. “Dickie” Moriconi, 82, lifelong resident of Manchester, died Wednesday August 30, 2017 surrounded by loved ones, at his home after an extended illness.
He was born on May 9, 1935, son of the late Joseph Moriconi and Florence (Buck) Moriconi who resides in Manchester. Dick graduated from Manchester High School with the Class of 1953, and served in the US Army. He retired from the US Postal Service and was also a real estate broker in the Manchester area.He was a member of the Manchester Army-Navy Club, and enjoyed golfing and visiting Rock & Rose Ranch in Manchester.
Besides his mother, he is survived by close friends Leonardo and Theresa Parla, Rosemarie Parla Chirico, Neil Danahy, also many aunts, uncles and cousins all of Manchester.

A service of Words of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 10:30 AM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. Burial with military honors will follow in the East Cemetery in Manchester. Visiting hours are Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Manchester Land Trust, 20 Hartford Road, Manchester, CT 06040.
