Manchester Officials Encouraging Online MV Tax Payments

MANCHESTER, CT — Officials in Manchester are e encouraging residents and business owners to pay their motor vehicle taxes online "amid" new concerns over the coronavirus.

"Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage taxpayers to consider remote payment
options," officials said in a Wednesday announcement. "Motor vehicle tax payments can be made safely and accessibly online."

The town's drop box and old fashioned mail can also be used, officials said.

There are no additional fees accompanying an online payment, officials said.

Taxpayers can visit www.townofmanchester.org to pay motor vehicle tax payments. Once there taxpayers can click on “Online Tax & Water Payments” or "Tax Payments."

To pay by mail, taxpayers can reference the top left-hand sides of the tax bills.

The drop box is located behind Town Hall (41 Center St. Manchester, CT) next to the handicapped entrance and is open 24/7. Payments should be placed in an envelope (no cash) and and placed into the drop box.
