Manchester Police Searching for Hickey-Laden Store Robber

The man had a female accomplice during the West Middle Turnpike robbery, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police are investigating a Wednesday night armed robbery on West Middle Turnpike.

The incident took place at about 9 p.,m. at the the Rainbow Clothing Store 360 West Middle Turnpike.

workers and customers to give up their cell phones and pile into a back room of the store.

There also appeared to be a female accomplice inside the store, police said.

When all of the workers and customers were the back room of the store, the suspects stole money from the
cash register and the store safe before fleeing the establishment and speeding away in a dark-colored vehicle, police said.

Police released descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect No. 1: A "skinny" black male, in his early 20s wearing big sunglasses and a
black hat. He was further described by police as having "numerous hickeys on his neck,
and tattoos on both his forearms."

Suspect No. 2: A black female, about 5-foot-2 with a stocky build. She was wearing
black clothing and glasses.

Police did not say if the female accomplice was the suspected source of the hickeys.
